International Architecture Competition: House of the Dictator

GENERAL TERMS

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter - the Terms) determine the rules of registration and conduct of the competition named "House of the Dictator."

1.2. ArchContest.com is the trading brand of ArchContest, a sole proprietorship registered in Italy, with VAT number 04166690364, headquartered at Via della Vite 30, Modena. Contact email: [email protected] (hereinafter - the Organizer).

1.3. The Organizer reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. By using the ArchContest platform and registering for the Competition, the Participant fully and irrevocably agrees to these Terms, which form a contract between the Participant and the Organizer.

1.4. The use and disclosure of personal information provided by the Participant is subject to the platform's Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

DEFINITIONS

2.1. "Platform" refers to the website https://archcontest.com, which serves as a medium for competition registration and submission.

2.2. "Competition" refers to the architecture concept competition organized by ArchContest through the Platform.

2.3. "Participant" refers to an individual or team registering for the Competition.

2.4. "Submission" refers to the design proposal submitted within the Competition.

2.5. "Jury" refers to a group of professionals evaluating Submissions.

2.6. "Prize" refers to the monetary award for winners.

PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

3.1. Competitions are open to any Participant aged 18 and over.

3.2. Participants can enter individually or as a team without any specific certification requirement.

3.3. Registration for the Competition is subject to a participation fee. Payment confirmation will grant access to submission features.

3.4. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and adjudicate disputes regarding eligibility.

SUBMISSIONS

4.1. All Submissions must be original work by the Participant or team.

4.2. Submissions must be made through the Platform's designated upload section. Late or alternative format submissions will not be considered.

4.3. A total of 20 finalists and 3 winners will be selected.

4.4. Participants must ensure that their submissions do not infringe any third-party rights.

FEES AND COSTS

5.1. A registration fee must be paid in full before participation.

5.2. The registration fee is non-refundable unless the competition is canceled.

5.3. Participants are responsible for their own expenses related to the preparation of their Submissions.

DISQUALIFICATION

6.1. Participants may be disqualified for providing false information or violating competition guidelines.

6.2. Failure to comply with submission guidelines may result in disqualification.

SELECTION OF WINNERS

7.1. The Jury will evaluate Submissions anonymously based on predefined criteria.

7.2. The Jury's decision is final and not subject to appeal.

PRIZE

8.1. The total prize fund will be distributed among the 3 winners.

8.2. Prize winners must provide valid banking information for monetary transfers.

8.3. Participants are responsible for any taxes applicable to their prize.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

9.1. Participants retain ownership of their work but grant the Organizer a license to publish, promote, and use the Submission for promotional purposes.

9.2. The Organizer has the right to use winning entries for marketing and branding purposes.

LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

10.1. By participating, Participants release the Organizer from any liability arising from their participation.

CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS

11.1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition at any stage.

11.2. In case of cancellation, the registration fee will be refunded.

COMMUNICATION

12.1. All competition-related communication will be conducted via the official email: [email protected].

12.2. The Organizer will communicate solely with the designated team leader in case of team participation.

GOVERNING LAW

13.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy.

13.2. Any disputes arising from participation shall be resolved in the courts of Modena.

CONCLUSION

14.1. These Terms shall enter into effect once the Participant registers for the Competition.

14.2. The Organizer reserves the right to make amendments, and the Participant must regularly check for updates.
